A small group is, as the name suggests, a small group of people who meet together on a regular basis outside of a typical Sunday morning worship atmosphere. The meetings are typically focused on fellowship and in-depth Bible Study.
In the past, at UCC, we have had a variety small groups ranging from a handful of members to upwards of 20 people and covering a variety of topics from books of the Bible to devotional books and topical studies. We’ve had groups who meet solely to fellowship over a meal and get to know each other better and we’ve had groups that meet to take part in a small worship service. Groups have met at their homes and varying locations, even some here at the church building.
So, if you’re new to UCC or you haven’t tried a small group in the past, we want to encourage you to get involved. They meet at varying times and locations, study different materials and feature a wide range of demographics. We hope that you will be able to find one that suits you.
